I bought this phone for both my mom and husband as gifts and they both love it. Battery life is great, OS is great and CAMERA is the BOMB! Excellent value for money. Xiaomi is a great brand.

I LOVED this phone when I first bought it but I knew immediately that it would be a rough phone experience. The sheer amount of software bugs I got with it were too many to count. But a few of the outstanding ones were: 1. Phone calls only working in speaker mode 2. Phone freezing completely when browsing YouTube 3. Phone locking itself mid use on it's own 4. All audio cutting out until the phone is restarted.

And these are just a few. Not deal breaking for some but no doubt too annoying for most. I recommend this phone on two things 1. The battery was amazing, I literally didn't need to charge my phone for over 4 days of normal use. 2. The hardware is really good for the price, ran every app and game pretty well.

This a good phone for the techy people out there. Like if you know how to use Linux and have your preferred distro this won't be problem for you. MIUI is just a terrible experience so if I were to buy this again I'd switch to a different ROM and I'm sure things would be way better.

Got to say I love it!
I have only had it for a week though, so, I cant talk on durability.
My wife has an Iphone 11 and is impressed with this phone. I keep finding more unique settings and tweaks daily.
It arrived quickly and was as described except came with US power adapter, the setup was easy over WiFi.
The ONLY BAD IS: This phone was a bit of a challenge to activate the TMobile sim... You have to create a MI account and link it to your Google, then enter your phone number for MMS verification. I kept getting messages stating "unable to activate sim". I am tech savy so I was able to figure it out.
This phone is lightning fast, responsive and has lots of storage for the price point.
It has a lot of cool features that you wont see on the american region flagship phones... Security and system utilities, camera filters and utilities and a suite of apps exclusive for Xiaomi, mostly deleted.
Thats okay... you also get all the google apps for android.
The battery life is okay also. A full charge will last a full day or more with lots of use.
I needed to replace my Pixel 4 after it died but could not afford to invest in a lengthy contract and $1000 to get something nice as a replacement.
Yes... I love nice things and I love tech! So, for only $300, I pulled the trigger. AND BOOM!
I would highly recommend! Very fast operation, 6 Gb RAM, and128 Gb storage and expandable, dual sim card and awesome cameras.
Drawbacks so far: Only GSM and a challenge to activate in US and facial recognition is hit and miss (I use fingerprint, no issue). Plastic back.
Is an international phone with european plug???
I CANT VERIFY, Mine came with a US power brick that charges FAST!
LOOK OUT SAMSUNG... after over 15 years, my new favorite Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Update... I was forced to return the phone after realizing I was not getting incoming calls or able to make outgoing calls at my house or many areas in town. Don't know if it was the phone or my provider, T-Mobile.

So I actually LOVE this phone but unfortunately the few issues I've been having with it area deal breakers so I am returning it.

The good:
The camera is AMAZING. Seriously if I could get past the calling issues, I would keep it for this feature alone.
The screen is bright and crisp and had phenomenal color display.
The battery is top notch - one charge lasted me 2.5 days of moderate to high use.

The bad:
The screen phantom touches sometimes when you haven't actually touched the screen (like if you hover, it thinks you tapped, which can be pretty annoying).

The deal breaker:
It's not supported by most carriers in my area. Verizon and Tmobile would not accept the IMEI and would not guarantee device would work on their networks because it's a global/international version, and not made for the US. AT&T said it would work based on IMEI so I ordered their SIM and put it in my old iphone 7 until my Redmi arrived (note: the SIM gave me 3 bars of LTE coverage on the iphone)... Insert it into the Redmi and it immediately dropped to one bar of service and intermittently would lose service completely. I thought I could get over the crummy service, but after I activated the wifi calling (per instructions I found online) I still wasn't able to receive calls while at home. I spent HOURS on the phone with both AT&T tech support and Amazon's support feature, but it still won't make or receive calls over wifi.. because of this, and the fact it is diminishing my cell reception, I can't make or receive calls about 60-75% of the time. That IS a deal breaker for me, so it's back in the box and going back unfortunately.

Wish they would make a US model already!!

Needed a new phone and couldn't afford much. Had never heard of this brand before, but knew someone that had experience using it. With the high recommendation I gave it a shot and was satisfied.
I'm used to Samsung's setup and it's similar to that. If you're used to Android, you'll adapt nicely. The phone works well and is capable of different settings.
I used Straight Talk to create a new account. AT&T would not recognize this model, but T-Mobile would. I did not attempt Verizon since this is a GSM model and not a CDMA as their company requires.
The only issue I continue to have is the black 'sleep' screen takes FOREVER to go away. Causing me to miss calls at times. A minor issue at the time. Increasingly irritating.

Vem com carregador de 33w o que facilita o carregamento ser ainda mais rápido. Acompanha capinha e o celular já tem uma película simples aplicada. Como opinião pessoal eu considero a cor tropical green a mais interessante da linha Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Considero uma boa escolha pela capacidade de carga superior aos demais da mesma linha, pelo conjunto de cameras e por conter NFC o que não tem na versão 9S. Processador muito bom para jogos e outras atividades.

O aparelho é lindo, essa cor é um espetáculo. A bateria dura MUITO. Utilizo redes sociais e YouTube o dia todo e chego no final do dia com pouco mais de 50% de bateria. O carregador achei que viria de garfo, mas veio no padrão brasileiro. Ele é uma cavalice de carregador, enorme, porém carrega o aparelho com pouco mais de uma hora. As câmeras são muito boas, mas não chega a ser uma top de linha. Porém, quem não é tão exigente pra fotos vai ficar muito satisfeito. O desempenho dele pro dia a dia é espetacular, não trava nada, muito rápido. Não testei jogos, mas deve rodar liso. Não veio com nota fiscal, mas o vendedor enviou assim que pedi pelo WhatsApp. Poderia ser um pouco mais barato, mas o dólar tá muito alto e não ajuda. Está valendo a pena até o momento

Estou muito satisfeito com o produto, além de bonito até o momento está super interessante conhecer os detalhes e a qualidade do celular. Gostei muito da agilidade da entrega. Fiquei na dúvida apenas ao consultar o site da Xiaomi que constou como internacional, mas nas configurações consta como global. Somente essa dúvida para ser sanada, mas o restante estou muito contente.

Esse produto é excelente mas o fornecedor nos enviou os celulares em cores diferentes das que solicitamos. Quando me enviaram mensagem solicitando uma avaliação no site e eu informei o erro o atendente respondeu "o duro que so tinhamos essas cores", o que me fez pensar porque que anunciaram diferente né? Não muda em nada a usabilidade, mas eu e meu esposo compramos dois celulares do mesmo modelo, a cor diferente era exatamente para evitar as trocas indevidas de celular como tem acontecido recentemente, ja que o fornecedor não tinha o produto correto para substituir. Ademais, em relação ao produto mesmo, não tenho nada a reclamar. A bateria é excelente, a câmera otima, memoria boa, tudo muito bom.

Estou com ele faz um mês, e até então só tenho elogios...
O RN9 Pro é lindo, leve e cumpre muito bem todas as funções. Com uso normal (no meu caso, ligações, whatsapp e twitter na maior parte do tempo) a bateria aguenta dois dias e meio tranquilamente, mas para quem gosta de jogar pode ser um pouco frustrante, porque nesse caso a bateria aguenta pouco mais que 24 horas.
A câmera é excelente, e a função macro produz fotos que eu não imaginava ser capaz de tirar com um smartphone.
O áudio não é stereo, mas é de boa qualidade. A qualidade de imagem é verdadeiramente ótima.
Valeu a pena cada centavo!
